Please read this important information.
We are now accepting applications for grants. The deadline for applications this year is
midnight Friday, October 1, 2021.

Before you apply for a grant, please read the mission statement on our website’s
and the following information:

First, we will ask you some preliminary questions to answer (questionnaire attached)
and submit your completed questionnaire via email to: If we think your organization is a good fit with the
Holland Foundation’s mission and goals, we will send an application and information to
your contact person. We will likewise inform you if your organization or project is not of
interest to us.

Other things you should know:

  • We will not meet with grant seekers before an application is submitted.
  • After you have applied, we may ask to meet with you if we need more information or if we want to tour your facility for example. However, we may not need to meet with you.
  • Please do not approach individual members of the Board unless you have a personal relationship with them.
  • Our geographic focus is Nebraska.
  • We do not support religious organizations for religious purposes.
  • We may access your most recent Form 990.

Due to the volume of requests, we are unable to provide feedback regarding your
request. Please understand that a denied request in no way reflects the value of your
program. The Holland Foundation receives numerous requests each year and must
make difficult decisions in establishing priorities.
